Welcome to The Silver Kennel. We breed Silver and Charcoal Labrador Retrievers. We have over 10 years of dog breeding experience.

Our dogs are all fed Purina Pro Plan and are given NuVet vitamins daily.

All of the puppies we sell come with a 24 month written health guarantee and are AKC registered. We have the parents on site for every puppy we sell. Dewclaws are removed at 3-5 days old, vaccines are given at 6 weeks of age by our vet and our puppies are dewormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks old.  Puppy pickup is available between 6 and 8 weeks of age and shipping is available at 10 weeks of age in the U.S.

Current Litter

We have had such great success and beautiful puppies from breeding Ruger and Allie that we decided to pair them up again. We are excited to announce that Allie whelped her litter of 7 puppies on September 13, 2017. See our Current/Upcoming Litters tab for additional details and photos!

Other Announcements

Due to the recent passing of one of our owners, we have decided to downsize our business; therefore, at this time we are looking to sell Stone and Belle. Stone and Belle have both been fantastic dogs, we are just unable to add another male to breed with them at this time.  We will be keeping Ruger and Allie and will continue to breed them annually. Please contact Shawn via phone at 731-697-9990 if you would like additional details on Stone, Belle or our current litter.

A little about Stone and Belle (see also their individual pages):

Stone is a silver lab that comes from one of our first litters from Ruger and Dixie, she was born in May of 2015 and has had preliminary OFA scan on her hips, which returned with good results. She is AKC registered and is clear on the 7 genetic tests we have performed.
Belle is a silver lab that comes from one of our more recent litters from Ruger and Allie, she was born in April of 2016. She is AKC registered and has been cleared genetically through her parent for the 7 genetic tests we have performed.
